Forever Plaid was such a huge hit last year that the fabulous four singers are coming back! MCT has been touring for more than 30 years and annually visits nearly 1,200 communities in all 50 states, four Canadian Provinces and overseas. Their mission is to develop life skills in children through participation in the performing arts. The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a musical comedy at its best where the competition is intense, and the words are hilarious. The show centers on a fictional spelling bee in Putnam County, New York. Six kids compete against each other as well as members of the audience. Three adults help adjudicate the proceedings: a nostalgic former spelling bee winner, a mildly insane vice principal and the Official Comfort Counselor completing his community service to the state of New York. Show dates are February 10, 11, 12, 17, 18 and 19 at 7:30 p.m. and a matinee on February 12 at 2 p.m. Ticket prices are: adults $15/seniors and students $12/UWFox students $5.

Almost, Maine is a play that takes place on a cold, clear, moonless Friday night in the middle of winter, where all is not quite what it seems in the remote mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised, hearts are broken. Love is lost, found and confounded.Almost, Maineinventively explores the mysteries of the human heart, touching audiences with laughter, heartbreak and hope. Show dates are April 7, 8, 9, 14, and 15 at 7 p.m. and a matinee on April 16 at 2 p.m. Ticket prices are: adults, $12/seniors and students, $10/UWFox students, $5.
